SCRIPT1002: Syntax error mypage.php, line 1 character 6 I am using IE9. Whats it's problem? This is my code: asdsadasd When I click on #donateButton, an error is produced. However, when I change javascript:void() to # then no error occurs any more. Please trim your HTML and JS down to a few lines where the error still occurs and then put the code in your question. It must be something like a missing parenthesis. –CodeCaster Jun 29 '12 at 13:50 1 lol okay will do :P –Chud37 Jun 29 '12 at 13:51 add a comment| 2 Answers 2 active oldest votes up vote 13 down vote accepte

JavaScript critical error at line 1, column 1 in http://localhost:49934/Content/css?v=8I6_j_wgn_9yNhfGU_-N-R8Ya98JN2nc600cBlm8VBM1 SCRIPT1002: Syntax error Assuming my css had some funny characters or invalid paths, i removed everything except the below. It still did not work .full { height: 100%; } .content { padding-top: 52px; padding-right: 10px; padding-left: 55px; width: 100%; } When i disable bundling, add the link the usual way like below, it works I googled and most of the links http://stackoverflow.com/questions/24394185/script1002-syntax-error-in-css-when-bundling talk about javascript error in javascript. I dont know why i am getting Javascript error in css. Any help will be appreciated. javascript css twitter-bootstrap bundling-and-minification share|improve this question edited Jul 2 '14 at 20:54 jgillich 19.7k12556 asked Jun 24 '14 at 18:53 Jeevan 42421228 1 there's no way JS would throw an error like that, unless somehow the css got stuffed into a script block. Did you look at the source of the generated page to see how the bundles.Add() worked out? –Marc B Jun 24 '14 at 18:55 3 I cant believe i have wasted almost 2 hours for this. Thanks for your suggestion. I am embarrassed to say what i did wrong. Instead of Styles.Render i have done Scripts.Render. Viewing the source helped me identify the problem –Jeevan Jun 24 '14 at 19:02 thanks, that helps me as well. –user3711357 Aug 4 '14 at 16:44 add a comment| active oldest votes Know someone who can answer?
